AffiliateWP – Checkout Referrals

AffiliateWP Checkout Referrals allows customers to choose an affiliate at checkout using either a select menu or an input field. This selected affiliate will receive a commission from the purchase.

This feature is particularly beneficial for websites with affiliates that are Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs). At checkout, customers can choose to support an NPO, and the chosen NPO will receive a commission from the sale. If a referral link is already being tracked (e.g., /?ref=123), the affiliate selection options will not be displayed at checkout.

Currently supported integrations include Easy Digital Downloads, WooCommerce, and Restrict Content Pro.

Features:

• Displays a select menu or input field at checkout (only if a referral link is not used), allowing customers to choose an affiliate and enter the affiliate ID or username to credit the purchase.
• Adds a payment note to the order screen, showing the referral ID, the amount recorded for the affiliate, and the affiliate’s name.
• Optionally requires customers to select an affiliate at checkout.
• Allows customization of how affiliates are displayed in the select menu.
• Allows customization of the text shown on the select menu/input area at checkout.
